MEET COACH JAIME SCHULTZ
Jaime’s love for baseball has always been innate, and he brings a unique, multifaceted perspective shaped by both playing and coaching the game. After an impressive four-year starter at Maple Hill High School in New York, his dedication turned into a well-deserved Division 1 scholarship offer to High Point University in North Carolina. He continued to build on that foundation after being drafted in the 14th round of the 2013 MLB Draft, and subsequently beginning his professional career with the Tampa Bay Rays.
During his time in the minor leagues, he excelled, accumulating a total of four honors as Pitcher of the Week and a selection as a Southern League All-Star. This hard work culminated in a significant moment when he made his MLB debut in 2018 with the Tampa Bay Rays. The following year, he was traded to the LA Dodgers, but his journey didn’t stop there; he spent the next four seasons contributing to the Oakland A’s, Seattle Mariners, and Tampa Bay Rays organizations. Unfortunately, after battling through an injury, he made the difficult decision to retire from professional baseball in 2023.
With over seven years of coaching experience spanning travel baseball, high school programs, and leading baseball operations at a training facility, Jaime provides a wealth of knowledge to aspiring players, coupled with his unrivaled passion for the sport. Outside of baseball, Jaime is the proud father of four boys, and when he is not engaged in sports in the yard with them, he enjoys traveling and enjoying new restaurants with his wife, Alyssa.

SENIOR SCOUTING, ARIZONA DIAMONDBACKS
for the love of the game.
Every player deserves a coach that is equally invested in their success as they are.
The meaning behind our slogan goes back to little league.
We all have coaches that stand out in our life. I was lucky enough to have met mine in little league and continue that relationship to today. One thing about this coach is that when he noted positive results, ended conversations, or made spontaneous comments etc. he always ended with “it’s a beautiful thing” - so here’s to Coach Franchini.
